Passerelles Numériques: Two Decades of Impact and a Vision for the Future
This year, Passerelles Numériques (PN) celebrates its 20th anniversary. Two decades of continuous commitment to providing underprivileged youth with the keys to a better future through digital training and support towards employment. Despite a complex international context for the development sector, PN not only celebrates its success but also its ambitious vision for the years ahead.
20 Years of Growth and Expansion
In 20 years, PN has evolved from a pioneering initiative in Cambodia to an international organization, with four centers in Southeast Asia and Africa.
More than 3,000 alumni, 12,000 people lifted out of poverty, and an average employment rate of 92% just two months after graduation.
At the heart of this success lie consistent values: respect, trust, responsibility, which unite students, teams, and partners. One of PN’s greatest strengths is our conviction that education goes beyond technical and professional skills, it also encompasses personal growth and wellbeing. We strive to empower our students to become not only skilled IT professionals, but also responsible, confident, and compassionate individuals.
A Nine-Year Strategic Plan
The anniversary is also an opportunity to announce a major turning point. PN has embarked on an ambitious nine-year strategic plan designed to strengthen its adaptability and ensure its sustainability.
• PN Global, the executive and operational team, will guide this transformation by setting strategic direction, harmonizing processes with international standards, and strengthening the capacities of the centers.
• The PN centers will evolve towards greater autonomy: local association status, reinforced governance, expanded networks, and direct project management.
The goal: to make PN even more agile, efficient, and close to local realities, while maintaining the quality standards that have built its reputation.
Celebrating Together
To mark this milestone, we launched a logo design contest for our students… and we have a winner: Sơn, 19, a first-year student at PNV, designed a logo in the shape of a boat — symbolizing a journey guided by dedicated mentors.

A huge congratulations to Sơn for this beautiful creation filled with gratitude and hope, which perfectly reflects our mission: opening up bright opportunities through a transformative learning journey.
The 20th anniversary is above all a chance to bring together the large PN family — students, alumni, partners, and teams — around festive events.
October 24, 2025 – Phnom Penh
A celebration in Cambodia, where our journey began. We will be organizing a special evening to bring together our extended PN Family and celebrate 20 years of impact, with speeches from key partners and PN teams. The night will continue with a cocktail reception, live music, and project presentations from all PN centers.
December 3, 2025 – Paris
We will be celebrating the 20 years of our global association with a focus on international solidarity and access to education and digital technology. The event will feature two roundtables, lively festive moments, and traditional Cambodian and Vietnamese dance performances. We are also honored to welcome the country directors from our four centers as special guests.
