Dear companies,

Established in 2010 in Da Nang city, Passerelles numériques Vietnam (PNV) is an NGO that offers a free 3-year IT training program for the most vulnerable and marginalized youths aged 18-23 in Vietnam. (Get to know more about us).

Over a decade, we’ve brought positive impacts to society:

HOWEVER, THE FUTURE OF OUR STUDENTS IS IN JEOPARDY

Currently, at PNV, our students are in critical need of laptops – their ultimate means of learning. Half of the computers have been with us for more than eight years, and their hardware has grown outdated and slow to support the newly installed software. As a result, PNV students have had a lot of trouble writing and running code. It’s even become tougher for them when their internships are near.

An assignment usually takes about an hour to complete, but it takes me two to three hours since my computer is lagging! For IT students like me, a computer is an indispensable companion because without it, I cannot study or practice. Having a computer that can smoothly run projects is my burning dream.

Nguyen Thi T.G., a second-year student at PNV.

Every day, I spend about 12 hours coding on the computer, and when I’m working on a project, the time to be friends with the computer can be up to 15 hours. But the time of “headache” caused by the slow computer is also gone for half a day. This is a difficulty that I believe other PNV students face as well.

Le Q.K., a third-year student at PNV.

THEY’RE ASKING FOR YOUR HELP!
